I love this book. So much fun, with a great mystery, funny characters, and real emotion behind everything. It's a cozy mystery that doesn't take anything lightly- things get a little scary without ever leaving "cozy mystery world" behind.

And seriously? Juan Carlos is one of the best characters I've read in a long time. He's the perfect additional to Azalea's mystery solving team, someone who feels real and yet bigger than life all at the same time, working in the text to bring out all the interest character nooks and crannies of the heroine.

Seriously, this is a great, fun book that leaves you wanting more. Can't wait for the second book in ther series!

This is my first Azelea mystery, but it will not be my last. I enjoyed this book, and want to see what happens to Azelea and her friends after their romp through Las Vegas.
When is the next one of the series coming out? I loved this book. Funny, fast read. Great characters. Recommended!
Kept me on edge. Every time I thought I had figured out who the murderer was, I was wrong. Jun was the last person suspected to be the killer.
I can't wait for the sequels --- This first in a long series - I can hope - is fast paced with a wealth of twists and just when you know for sure who-dunnit, someone else confesses and it makes perfect sense that the new killer has to be the one! Azalea is a gutsey heroine and someone you hope would be at your back when you needed someone...don't go to Vegas without her!
I loved this book. It was funny with a good mix of mystery. The people in it where great. One of my favorite was Juan Carlos and his friend Richard. Azalea was great. Alex and Azalea need more time together to see how there relationships could go. The thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a another book yet.
I loved this book! Any book that makes me laugh out loud with a fun ensemble of characters is a keeper on my shelf. A great mystery, hilarious characters and Alex the cop...yum! Can't wait to read more of zany Azalea's and Juan Carlos' hijinks and mysteries...and yeah, more taking it to the next level with Alex!

Well-written, laugh-out loud funny, with a superbly drawn cast of characters made this cozy mystery one of my favorite reads of the year!
The cover & price of this book tempted me to purchase it. I thought what the heck, for 99 cents I'd try it. Well, I was delightfully surprised! What a wonderful book! It had humor, mystery, & romance. Other reviewers have done an excellent job of summarizing the plot, so I will only say "BUY THIS BOOK!" I promise you will not be disappointed. I hope there is a sequel. Need more of Azalea, Juan Carlos, Richard, Viv, Alex, & absolutely King & Roy!! (Btw, loved Roy's transformation).
