Of all books by P.J. Nevada I've read so far, I think I like this the most! So you can call it one of my favorites now, for sure. I love both, Logan and Patrick, they're just adorable and gorgeous....and hot. When they meet and the flirty teasing starts you can almost see the sparks fly and how they're drawn to each other. It's just awesome, reading it, I couldn't stop grinning myself. Logan is such a flirt, no surprise that Patrick falls so fast and intensely head over heels, he just knows what he wants and thats definitely sweet Logan. And just thinking of the "phone call" on sunday morning *fanning myself* holy hell, that was hot. But when reality and their work-life hits them, well, it got me slightly teary and sad as well as Logan and Patrick. But if they'll find a way or not, see yourself, it's so dang worth it!! I love it! Highly recommended!!
Patrick is a lawyer who has recently broken up with his long time girlfriend. He thinks that he should be more upset over this, but he really isn't. He comes to the understanding that they were just comfortable in their relationship...too comfortable. They were only still together because it was nice to have someone there for you at the end of the work day. The spark was long gone out of their relationship. Due to his busy and hectic work schedule Patrick isn't really thinking about a social life, because he doesn't have the time to worry about that.
He uses his time at the gym to both relieve the stress from his work day, and to keep his body in shape. While he is there he gets better acquainted with Logan, who is a fellow lawyer. They know of each other, but are not exactly friends...yet? Logan has admired Patrick from a far, and they start to have this flirty little banter between them that quickly turns to friendship, and Patrick starts to wonder if he wants it to progress into something more. Could he really have a relationship with a man?
He has never been attracted to another man before, so these feelings are all new to him. He doesn't deny them, hide them or try to run away from it though, and I like that about him. The happiness he has with Logan is more important to him that what other people may think. He decides that he is happiest when he is with Logan, and he has an unexplainable connection with him. He feels like they have known each other for far longer, and this connection feels too right not to not embrace it and pursue it to see if it will work out.
As always life and work get in the way which only brings doubts into Logan's mind. Is Patrick having second thoughts? Does he really want to pursue this relationship, or is he just trying to let him down easy by using the too busy with work excuse? Will they ever get to take their relationship to the next level, or will aggravation and hurt feelings over too little time together ruin everything? Will things work out between Patrick and Logan or is this relationship doomed to be over before it even truly began?
As other reviewers have said before me the phone call scene is definitely a favorite moment in the book, so for hot moments like this, and to see if Patrick and Logan get their happily ever after, I recommend this book.

This GFY latest offering from PJ Nevada is without doubt his best book so far. I loved how he executed his sexy storyline, I was drawn in immediately from page one, I knew instantly that this was my kind of book.
Patrick is a successful lawyer (attorney) but his personal life is a mess. His girlfriend has left him and he’s not as upset as he should be? He realises that his life has now reached limbo status. He’s a regular gym goer, not only does it keep his body in great shape but also lets off the steam as well. At one of his sessions, he meets Logan, another lawyer he knows vaguely.
Logan starts up a conversation….is he flirting with him? Patrick doesn’t know but he does know that his own personal steam is rising and another body part has risen too! . What a shocker!!! Or is it? He’s certainly never ever been interested in another man sexually before, but Logan’s sexy flirting, his great body and the way he keeps referring to him as “old man” (there is a few years age difference) is a real turn on and he likes it, but does he want to explore his feelings further?
I don’t want to give a spoiler, but I think the phone sexing sealed the answer on that one! As I’ve already mentioned the phone sexing, I gotta tell you that that scene was an absolute sexy delight to read – personally, I think that the author may have used some personal knowledge on this, as it was very, very realistic (lol).
Being a high flyer in the legal world, work has a habit of taking over, maybe this is why his relationship with his now ex-girlfriend didn’t work out? and even though Logan is a lawyer himself, it causes problems. Can Patrick and Logan get through this? Is Patrick really ready to admit to being Logan’s boyfriend?
But what really makes this book so special is Patrick and Logan themselves. I loved both characters, Patrick going for what he wants and Logan for his sense of humour and knowing that Patrick is someone worth chasing. At times it was sweet and at others, down right dirty!
The author did a great job on this one and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us with his next book, I’ve no idea what it’s going to be? The author always surprises me and I love surprises.
